Volunteering Guidelines

Thank you for your willingness to share your time, enthusiasm, and skills with our students.  Last year parents and community members logged thousands of volunteer hours.  Your efforts, and the efforts of our many other volunteers, help to make our school the exceptional place that it is.

Even as a volunteer, your commitment needs to be professional.  While you are on campus you are a role model for students.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.  Thank you for participating directly in our fine school. You make the difference.

Expectations of a Volunteer

Thank you for your willingness to volunteer and positively impact our students! Take note of the following to volunteer at AMA

*Please complete a volunteer form
*You will not be allowed to help out in the classroom or on a field trip without a background check/clearance each year.
*Check-in at the front office for a volunteer sticker/visitor’s badge. ID is required.
*Set cell phone to silent. Please do not utilize your phone while volunteering.
*You are responsible for helping us make sure that the children in your care represent the school in a positive way.
